Ventura’s highly flexible and scalable solutions include the “universal” VS551-D module that transports any analog or digital video format without manual intervention. A single encoder/decoder pair, occupying one slot each in the send and receive locations, can carry standards-compliant SD-SDI, HD-SDI, SDTI, DVB-ASI or even NTSC or PAL, just by changing the input signal.

Products are available for transmitting HD/SDI with jitter management, providing JPEG 2000 compression solutions over IP, and wavelength division multiplexing for bi-directional optical multiplexing of up to 16 channels with optical path protection.
